After I got back from Spain, I looked for a nearby restaurant in Austin that had gazpacho on the menu. As I was waiting for the meal, I saw someone come into the restaurant and reflect light from the glass door into the glass-filled room.
In this image, I aimed to convey the evocative power and softness of this light and evoke the nostalgic longing for the daily gazpacho obsessed experiences I had while traveling in Spain. Heavy inspiration was from renowned artists such as Manet and Caravaggio.
