Every year, from May to June, the Golden Gate Rose Garden bursts into a magnificent display of vibrant colors as hybrid tea, miniature, and climbing rose varieties come into full bloom. Since its establishment in 1961, this garden has showcased an impressive collection of over 150 rose species, arranged in more than 60 rectangular plots. The White Hybrid Tea Rose captured in this image possesses a unique characteristic—it bloomed later in the year, standing out amidst a sea of withered petals and lush, leathery green leaves. It was a rare discovery during my visit to the garden on a foggy day in November.
In this image, my imtention was to convey the enchanting and hidden beauty that this rose would create amongst the assortment of faded pedals and verdant foliage.
