In my first few walks exploring my new home, I went looking for unique contrasts between modern and historic pictures of San Francisco before and after the earthquake of 1906.
In this image, I drew inspiration from historic photographs, accounts of earthquake survivors, and the signature orange and pink hues found on several older buildings in the city.
