As I trekked along the remote trails within the Barton Creek greenbelt system in Austin, Texas, I stumbled upon this picturesque scene of trees providing a lush leafy canopy as the autumn season began to take hold.
In this painting, I wanted to visually capture the transition between the darkness and light of a sunrise through a canopy of Texas Live Oak trees.
