Pillars of Economic Enlightenment

I set out on a door-to-door journey across Los Angeles, carrying my artwork with me in search of a gallery that would take a chance on showcasing the pieces I had created up to that point in my artistic career. After much persistence, I finally found a gallery that took a leap of faith and agreed to exhibit my work in March 2020. As I left the gallery, I was struck by the sight of a cluster of skyscrapers rising over the LA/Santa Monica skyline—an ominous yet inviting presence.

In this image, I wanted to capture the towering buildings of the Century City area, rendering them to resemble the components of a computer circuit board—terminals, modules, and connectors—merging the organic structure of the city with digital, technological form.
