During my bike tour of the Berlin Wall, a historic symbol of division and conflict between East and West Germany during the Cold War, I was struck by the unique transformation of certain sections into open meadows. Unlike other areas that had been developed, these spaces remained untouched, allowing nature to reclaim its place. The view before me resembled a scene straight out of an impressionist painting, with colors blending and dancing in the gentle breeze.
In this image, my intention was to capture the essence of that enchanting moment and the interplay of colors that unfolded as sunlight filtered through the windswept landscape. I wanted to experiment with visually representing the captivating effects of light and movement, inspired by the impressionist style, as I sought to convey the ethereal beauty of this transformed space along the Berlin Wall.
