During my student teaching in a middle school art class, my lead teacher mentioned that students were creating and exchanging art trading cards as a side project. Inspired by this, I created a series of abstract pieces, starting with this one. I wanted to capture a recurring dream of an endlessly dripping pool forming a long waterfall, using it as the central theme of the artwork.
In this image, I wanted to visualize the waterfall from that recurring dreamscape.
