Before my move to Los Angeles, I managed to capture one last image of the renowned 360 Condominiums building in downtown Austin. The towering presence of this 44-story structure left a lasting impression on me, particularly as I made numerous trips from Amarillo to Austin for teacher interviews. Throughout my first year in Austin, I slowly witnessed the gradual construction of this building, observing its growth and progress. After its constrution and for nearly two years, it held the distinction of being the tallest building in Austin, until the Austonian emerged just two blocks away.

In this photo, my intention was to capture the vertical grace and nostalgic allure of one of downtown Austin’s most iconic and celebrated buildings.
